Address: 6000 Kecskemét, Kossuth tér 2.Approved by Mary Theresa in 1752 the building was erected between 1774 and 1806 in classical and late baroque styles based on Oswald Gáspár's plans. Its roof and steeple totally consumed in the flames of a conflagration in April 2nd, 1819. Since then the bells toll on every April 2nd from 8.30 to 9 P.M., in remembrance of this catastrophe.
